My journey to the mat started as a purely physical activity and eventually evolved into a daily and necessary practice of self-reflection and focus. Whether my practice is twenty minutes or two hours, yoga allows me to tune into my body and recognize what's going on in my mind. From that place of awareness, I am able to act accordingly through my diet, breath, movement, meditation and positive thinking. I have now been practicing yoga for over twenty years and teaching around the world since 2000, and am truly grateful for the fulfillment that this life path brings me. It's one of my greatest joys in this life.

As a new mother of two beautiful baby boys, finding time to focus on myself is more challenging, but more necessary, than ever. It is my true desire to show up for my family, my students, and my life from a place that is open, grounded and present. My daily practice is absolutely a means to this goal and I am passionate about helping others cultivate and refine their own daily practice. Through gentle and informative hands on instruction, I teach the tools to stay healthy, grounded and balanced. My teaching style draws inspiration from Astanga, Vinyasa, Anusara, Iyengar and Forrest yoga traditions.
